About Me

Nicole Brown

I haven’t always lived with a calm, steady nervous system. For years, I was caught in survival mode — pushing through, holding it all together, doing what I thought I “should.” It left me burnt out, disconnected, and at war with my own body.

What I discovered — through years of lived experience, study, and practice — is that real transformation doesn’t come from more hustle or more rules. It comes from slowing down, listening inward, and giving the body what it’s been asking for all along: safety, rhythm, and devotion.

That’s what Studio Soma is built on. Nervous system first. Always.

My background weaves together psychology study, somatic practices, and my own lived experience of neurodivergence and healing. But more than that, it’s my devotion to creating spaces where women can breathe, soften, and come home to themselves.

I believe healing isn’t about fixing. It’s about remembering who you are underneath the noise.

About Studio Soma

Why I Do This

I know what it feels like to live in a body that never gets to rest — to be stuck in survival mode, holding it all together, and wondering if it will ever feel different. For years, I thought I had to fix myself by working harder, eating cleaner, being stronger, doing more. What I’ve learned is that the shift only happens when we slow down, regulate, and remember how to listen to our bodies.

Studio Soma is my way of sharing what I’ve lived and what I’ve learned. This is my life’s work — creating practices that honour the nervous system first, so we can finally find steadiness, softness, and sovereignty in our own skin.

Who This Is For

Studio Soma is for women who are tired of white-knuckling their way through life. For women who feel stretched thin, burnt out, or disconnected from themselves — and who crave another way.

It’s for the ones who have tried the quick fixes, the endless wellness trends, the “perfect” routines, and found them unsustainable or shallow.

Here, you’ll find practices that are gentle, doable, and repeatable. A place that honours neurodivergent minds, sensitive nervous systems, and women who want real change without more pressure.

A Little About Me

I’m currently studying psychology, with a deep focus on the nervous system, neurodivergence, and somatic healing. But beyond the study, this work is personal. I’ve lived through burnout, survival states, and the slow work of recovery. What I share here are the practices and frameworks that helped me reclaim myself, translated into tools that can support you, too.

Studio Soma is not about perfection or performance. It’s about creating spaces where you can breathe, soften, and remember who you are beneath the noise.
