     Studio Soma is located at the foothills of the beautiful Dandenongs Ranges on Burwood Highway in Upper Ferntree Gully. We are across the road from the well known 1000 Steps (The Kokoda Walk) and great bush walks.

     The big room is for Yoga, Meditation and Wellbeing Courses.  The space is light and airy with arch windows overlooking the mountains and beyond. You will often hear cockatoos, kookaburras and parrots in the huge gum trees.   It is carpeted and air-conditioned ... cool in summer, warm in winter. Meditation stools are provided, yoga mats, rugs, and pillows. Relaxing aromatherapy oils are prepared before each class. Filtered water is available along with separate male and female change rooms.  Small classes of 12 students.  

    The clinic offers Counselling, Buddhist Psychotherapy, Somatic Therapy, Massage, Reiki, humWAVE Treatments and consultations. The shop stocks the plush Meditation Stools designed by Colin Steele of Black Dragon Seats, quirky dharma T.Shirts, along with books and other products.

    Somatics Australia was founded by Karen Bell in 1995 and Studio Soma was created in 2006 as a dedicated space for healing and wellbeing.  We welcome you to come and experience a wellness class or make an appointment for an individual session.
